Localism: Going Local, Let’s Do It
Join the global rethink movement to build resilient local economies and flourishing local communities.
We need local action and systematic change. Currently, with the pursuit of never-ending growth and profits, the corporate-led global economy is putting all life on earth at risk. When we stand together and take action to localize our economies and strengthen our communities, we are helping to bring about a systemic shift in direction – towards cultural and biological diversity, social justice, sovereign direct democracy, and our own health and happiness.
It’s time to bring our economies back home, to return to a human scale, to localize.
Take action with the tools and resources in this guide.

Banking Solution: Sovereign Baank
Global Rethink is launching Sovereign Baank in a few months. As you all have seen the past week the crash of a few banks. So with your security and sovereign rights in our thoughts, we found a solution to keep your wealth safe and away from as little government and middlemen interference as possible.
So now for a limited time, we are offering “founding member shares” into Sovereign Baank. This is a great opportunity to invest, because as the capital wealth of SB grows, so does the value of the shares.
Here are some of the FAQs being asked about Sovereign Baank:
- Can I transfer my RRSP?
- There is no direct way to transfer funds from a Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) to another bank account. In order to contribute funds to a new bank account from an RRSP, you must withdraw the funds, and pay any applicable withholding tax, plus any additional taxes at tax time.
- Can I setup Direct Deposit? Transfer funds?
- Yes, you will be able to setup direct deposit in your sovereign account, and then transfer those funds instantly into your crypto wallet account, which the government can’t touch.
- What is Crypto?
- Bitcoin focuses on lowering the cost of influencers and reducing the time of transactions, but it is less flexible. Cryptocurrency aims to exchange goods and services in a safe and secure environment with little government and middleman interference.
If you own Bitcoin, you own a cryptocurrency. If you own a cryptocurrency, you may or may not own Bitcoin. Cash, debit cards, and Venmo are all forms of currency transactions. In the same way, Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Dogecoin are all forms of cryptocurrencies.
A cryptocurrency is a medium of exchange, such as the US dollar, but is digital and uses cryptographic techniques and it’s protocol to verify the transfer of funds and control the creation of monetary units.
